Remember, our goal is to make betting a little bit easier for you all with the help of our AI Sports Betting predictive analytical models, so with that said let's dive right into the Week 3 Rithmm Roundup.
Understanding Player Props on Rithmm
First, let's get familiarized a little bit with Rithmm's interface, specifically for AI NFL player props and AI Sports Picks.
Starting with player props, to access the full comprehensive list, simply click on the props button in the bottom left of Rithmm while on the NFL tab. You'll then be presented with a list that looks exactly like this.
You'll see a couple interesting things here. First of all, Rithmm provides up-to-date odds on lines, which is extremely handy so you don't have to head to the sportsbook app to see if the line has changed since seeing it. Our player props tool also will show you what the Rithmm AI model's projection is for that player. Lastly, you'll see a percentage number on the right side, the word DTM, and either a little green star or a yellow caution sign.
DTM stands for Difference to Market, and it represents the difference between Rithmm's prediction and the line that your sportsbook has. Rithmm will compare the probability that the player prop has of winning based on Rithmm's line and the book's line, historical data, and the book's payout to determine the DTM. Once that happens, if the difference falls within a certain window, Rithmm will label it a recommended bet by putting a green star next to it.
Keep in mind that the model is not the end-all, be-all here! We want you to also use the Research tab as well to support your theories when taking NFL Week 3 player props.
Best Week 3 NFL Player Prop Bet Predictions
Week 2 Record: 0-3
Season Record: 4-3
Let's get into it! These are a few of the best player props for NFL Week 3 that the Rithmm AI Model spit out, along with updated odds and DTM. We'll look at the research behind each play and see why Rithmm recommended it.
Week 3 Devin Singletary (NYG) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Under 58.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Rithmm Predicts: 31.8 yards
DTM: 54.5%
Singletary finally got into the swing of things in Week 2, with a solid 95 rush yards on 16 carries, but that was against the Washington Commanders in a game that the Giants led a good portion of. Washington has struggled defensively this season and wasn't a tough matchup.
The Cleveland Browns, on the other hand, are one of the best defenses in the NFL. Despite being known as the best passingdefense in the league last season, they aren't too shabby in the run game either. They held Travis Etienne under 55 rushing yards last week and despite being blown out by the Dallas Cowboys in Week, they held their RBs to less than 40 yards for any one back.
Week 3 Tutu Atwell (LAR) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Over 23.5 Rec Yards (-115)
Rithmm Predicts: 35.1 Yards
DTM: 35.7%
Atwell really lost his spot in this offense last season. The former second round pick was fifth on the depth chart at times last season, but in the wake of long-term injuries to star WRs Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, Atwell has played a role in 2024.
The Rams face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3, and while their defense is formidable, it's not immovable. Atwell has gone well over 24 yard in both games this season with totals of 38 and 48 yards, and he should play a downfield role for the Rams and Matthew Stafford here. Atwell should also be used in the screen game as well, his size and speed is an asset in the short-intermediate.
Week 3 Justin Jefferson (MIN) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Over 80.5 Rec Yards (-115)
Rithmm Predicts: 112.2 Yards
DTM: 27.7%
Somehow this feels 10-15 yards too low for the superstar that Jefferson is. Regardless of the talent around him, the Vikings' best offensive player continues to put up big numbers, with 133 yards on four catches last week against the 49ers after putting up 57 in Week 1 against a hapless Giants' team.
The Houston Texans aren't hapless, and they will be throwing as well in this one, which means Sam Darnold is going to have to feed Jefferson quite a bit if the Vikings want to get to 3-0. Luckily, the Texans have been susceptible to the deep ball.
Teams have attempted the third-highest rate of 20+ yard attempts against them, and while they haven't completed many, we have to remember that Anthony Richardson wasn't able to complete several deep shots despite the receivers beating their targets. Look for Jefferson to see targets early and often here.
Week 3 Javonte Williams (DEN) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Over 14.5 Rec Yards (-113)
Rithmm Predicts: 23 Yards
DTM: 22%
It's surprising to see this low of a number. Despite getting shut out on the stat sheet in Week 1, Williams had a couple targets, and then had five catches in Week 2 for 48 yards. The Broncos have indicated that Williams is the lead in the committee here, and the numbers hav backed it up.
This season, the Buccaneers have gotten GASHED by running backs through the air. Astonishingly, all five RBs that have caught a pass against the Bucs have gone over 15 receiving yards: Brian Robinson Jr. (49), Austin Ekeler (52), David Montgomery (35), Jahmyr Gibbs (22), and Sione Vaki (17).
Williams is a very capable receiving back, and with the Buccaneers ranking first in Checkdown Rate Against this season while the Broncos rank 12th, I can see this being Dumpoff City for Javonte this weekend.
