This article will drop every Friday afternoon, and then in the following week's posts, we'll recap how things went!
Remember, our goal is to make betting a little bit easier for you all with the help of our AI Sports Betting predictive analytical models, so with that said let's dive right into the Week 6 Rithmm Roundup.
Understanding Player Props on Rithmm
First, let's get familiarized a little bit with Rithmm's interface, specifically for AI NFL player props and AI Sports Picks.
Starting with player props, to access the full comprehensive list, simply click on the props button in the bottom left of Rithmm while on the NFL tab. You'll then be presented with a list that looks exactly like this.
You'll see a couple interesting things here. First of all, Rithmm provides up-to-date odds on lines, which is extremely handy so you don't have to head to the sportsbook app to see if the line has changed since seeing it. Our player props tool also will show you what the Rithmm AI model's projection is for that player. Lastly, you'll see a percentage number on the right side, the word DTM, and either a little green star or a yellow caution sign.
DTM stands for Difference to Market, and it represents the difference between Rithmm's prediction and the line that your sportsbook has. Rithmm will compare the probability that the player prop has of winning based on Rithmm's line and the book's line, historical data, and the book's payout to determine the DTM. Once that happens, if the difference falls within a certain window, Rithmm will label it a recommended bet by putting a green star next to it.
Keep in mind that the model is not the end-all, be-all here! We want you to also use the Research tab as well to support your theories when taking NFL Week 6 player props.
Best Week 6 NFL Player Prop Bet Predictions
Week 5 Record: 2-2
Season Record: 12-7
Let's get into it! These are a few of the best player props for NFL Week 6 that the Rithmm AI Model spit out, along with updated odds and DTM. We'll look at the research behind each play and see why Rithmm recommended it.
Week 6 Trevor Lawrence (JAX) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Over 9.5 Rush Yards (-113)
Rithmm Predicts: 14.4 Rush Yards
DTM: 62.3%
Lawrence may actually be running for his life in this game against the Bears in London. The Bears rank second in the league in Pass Rush Win Rate, which basically means they get to the quarterback easily. It's not like the Jaguars' offensive line has been great this season, either.
Lawrence has only gone over this total once this season, but it feels like bad luck. He's run at least twice in all but one game and has immense scrambling ability.
Week 6 Tank Dell (HOU) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Under 56.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Rithmm Predicts: 46.1 Receiving Yards
DTM: 21.9%
This is tough, because obviously Stefon Diggs and Dell are the healthy options with star Nico Collins on IR for the foreseeable future. However, I struggle to understand how this is the spot to back Dell, because outside of the fact that he has not given us a reason to trust him, we could very well see Dell matched up against star CB Christian Gonzalez on the outside for the Patriots.
Gonzalez has held every WR he's faced under 50 yards this season and Dell has not show enough to get me on his over this week.
Week 6 Gabe Davis (JAX) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Under 31.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Rithmm Predicts: 25.8 Yards
DTM: 21.4%
Davis has been pretty disappointing this season. Sure, he's gone over this prop in 3/5 games, but going up against a Bears' defense that ranks third-best in defensive Pass DVOA? I'm not sure.
The Bears run ahefty amount of zone, and despite ranking first on the Jaguars in routes against zone coverage, Davis ranks well outside the top 75 receivers in fantasy points per route run and has the third-most receptions on the team, lowest among the starters.
Week 6 Javonte Williams (DEN) Prop Bet Predictions
Pick: Over 18.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Rithmm Predicts: 25.6 Yards
DTM: 11.5%
Despite the fact that the Chargers only give up the fourth-fewest receiving yards per game to running backs, they do give up the fourth-most receptions per game to the position.
Williams has been a receiving monster this season, with Bo Nix willing to check it down to his back.
