3M Open Round 2 Picks
Table of Contents
Welcome in to the 2024 3M Open! One of the final events on the schedule before the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin in a few weeks, there are plenty of golfes in the field fighting for a playoff spot and TPC Twin Cities always delivers a solid event.
With some winds in the morning as well as later in the afternoon affecting the very flat course, we did see scores dip a bit, with the track playing just a half-stroke under par. That allowed early-wave leader Jacob Bridgeman, who shot a career-low 63, to claim the first-round lead.
Following every round, we’ll be going through my favorite AI golf picks for the following round, as well as the Rithmm-backed AI Caddie hole score picks I’m rolling with. Let’s get into Round 2!

3M Open Round 2 Best Bets
Matchup: Keith Mitchell > Keegan Bradley (-105)
I'm not surprised that Bradley gets the better number here. While this course just screams "Keith Mitchell takeover" with how easily it can be pushed around by players with a very strong Total Driving skill, Bradley is just as good with his Total Driving near Mitchell's.
However, where Mitchell and Bradley do have a divide is their Round 2 Scoring Average this season. Cashmere Keith ranks second with a 68.2 average, while the 2025 Ryder Cup captain sits 70th with a 70.1 average.
I'm not saying that that's the only reason, but when you have a skillset overlap like these two have, it's helpful to have a large sample size differentiator. Keegan has also been losing strokes on approach lately, with strokes lost in three of his previous five events.
