Despite getting off to a rocky start, the Eagles now look like they are starting to become the team they had hoped for at the beginning of the season. They are now 4-2 after playing their best game of the year against division rival, the New York Giants. In that game, all facets of the team were humming. Saquon Barkley, in his return to MetLife, had 187 all-purpose yards and a touchdown, Jalen Hurts didn’t turn the ball over, and the defense recorded eight sacks and didn’t allow a touchdown.
The Eagles are now just a half game out of first place in the NFC East Division and are looking to go on a roll. The offense is now the 12th best in the league by DVOA and is averaging 362.2 yards per game which is good for 9th in the league. They are also the second best rushing team in the NFL, led by Barkley, averaging 166.7 yards per game on the ground.
After two good weeks of football, the defense is rounding into form as well. They have not allowed an offensive touchdown in the last two weeks and are racking up the sack totals. The defense is ranked 18th by DVOA and is climbing.
After two straight games with no offensive turnovers, the Eagles still have a -6 turnover differential and is the third worst differential in the NFL.

Cincinnati Bengals Preview
The Cincinnati Bengals have come to be known for their slow starts out of the gates the last few years under Head Coach Zac Taylor.

The offense for the Bengals, their best unit, has been one of the major reasons for the recent success. They currently rank 6th in the league by DVOA, averaging 331.7 yards per game, but 237.4 yards passing per game which is good for 8th best in the league.
Joe Burrow, Ja’marr Chase, and Tee Higgins might be the best passing unit in the league. Chase already has 620 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns, while Higgins, who missed two games, has 341 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The defense has left a lot to be desired so far this year. They are ranked 20th in the league by DVOA. They have just eight turnovers on the year, putting them right in the middle of the pack. They have just a 20.3 percent pressure rate which is 22nd in the league.

Looking at the numbers and the trends of these teams, I am leaning towards betting the spread.
