Through two weeks, the Chiefs look like the same winning team that just won back-to-back Super Bowls, outlasting the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 and then sneaking by the Cincinnati Bengals in the last minute the following week. Despite both being close games, these are Kansas City's two biggest rivals in the AFC, so it's notable.

With RB Isiah Pacheco going down for 6-8 weeks with a fractured fibula, the Chiefs have to decide what to do at the running back position with Carson Steele, Samaje Perine, and Kareem Hunt available to use. We could definitely see QB Patrick Mahomes throw more here.

The Falcons are coming off of a terrific win against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, something most did not see coming after an extremely lackluster offensive performance in Week 1 against the Steelers. QB Kirk Cousins looked much better over a week of play, so we know the Falcons can move the ball down the field now.

We're currently 3-0 on the season with this model on totals, so we're looking to continue thenice streak here. I think both teams will be able to move the ball uyp andf down the field in this one.

Mahomes and the Chiefs will be able to move the ball on any team, but especially against a Falcons' secondary that gave up a couple of very long scoring drives to the Eagles last week. They sometimes struggle to tackle and that will have defenses gassed against receivers that can be shifty in Rashee Rice, Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy.

On the Falcons' side of things, this could be a Kyle Pitts game against a Chiefs' defense that gave up stellar games to Isaiah Likely and Mike Gesicki in back-to-back weeks. Drake London should also get some room to run against this secondary that has not played as well as 2023 just yet.
