Fever comes in after a hard-fought loss in Chicago on Sunday. The loss snapped a season-high four-game winning streak. Indiana currently sits out of the playoffs with a record of seven wins and eleven losses.

This will be the third meeting of these two teams. The Storm have taken both games by the scores of 103-88 and 85-83. They say it's hard to beat a team three times in a year. Will the Storm make it three in a row or will the Fever come out on top? Let's see what my Fever vs Storm AI prediction says.

Indiana Fever Preview

Indiana comes in winning four of five. After some early season struggles, they seem to be gelling. The Fever have drawn much media attention thanks to rookie sensation Caitlin Clark but during this five-game run she has not been the only one filling up the stat sheet.

As a resident Hoosier, it has been fun seeing this team learn how to win. The key to the success has been their great three-point shooting. Over the last five games they are averaging 9.8 makes from beyond the arc while shooting 43.8 percent. That is over eight percent higher than their season average.

The Fever last played in Seattle on May 22. It was an exciting affair with the Fever coming up short 85-83. The Fever held a two-point lead going into the fourth quarter but the Storm went on a 7-0 run to pull away.

Boston had her worst game of the year in the loss. Only scored four points while playing a season-low fifteen minutes. If Indiana is going to come out on top, Boston needs to continue her current hot streak. This plays a key role in my Fever vs Storm AI prediction.

Seattle Storm Preview

The Storm stopped a two-game slide on Sunday with a victory against Connecticut. It was a great defensive effort by Seattle. They held the Sun to 37.3 percent from the field and forced 17 turnovers.

Storm are led by Jewell Loyd. The Olympian is leading the team in scoring at 18.4 points a game. Loyd is one of four on the team averaging double-digit scoring. Nneka Ogwumike (17.7 PPG), Skylar Diggins-Smith (14.8 PPG), and Ezi Magbegor (13.3 PPG) join Loyd.

Seattle has been struggling from beyond the arc in their last five games. They are making 5.8 treys a game on only 28 percent shooting.

Back in May when the Fever visited, Loyd scored a season-high 32 points to lead the Storm. The Storm will need her scoring to keep up with the red hot Fever.

Then I look at a statistical break down of this matchup and the current trends. The Fever are 5-0 over their last five ATS (Against the spread). The Storm are 3-2 ATS over their last five but only 1-2 over their last three. Indiana is 7-2 ATS last nine in Seattle.

Let's now talk about the number. Ten is a big number! This number does not make sense to me. Indiana was plus 5 back in May in Seattle. The Fever were 0-4 heading into that game. Now they are rolling and are figuring out how to play as a team.
