Genesis Scottish Open 2024: Round 4 Best Bets & AI Caddie Pick
Table of Contents
After 54 holes of action, the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open is led still by the young phenom, Ludvig Aberg. Aberg sits at 17 under par, two shots clear of the field, and his closest challenger is Robert MacIntyre, who finished as the runner-up in last year's tournament.
It's not a done deal yet, as plenty of possibles lurk, like Rory McIlroy, Sungjae Im, and Collin Morikawa. With a soft course from this afternoon's rain, there are sure to be plenty of fireworks for Sunday's round.
Following every round, we’ll be going through my favorite AI golf picks for the following round, as well as the Rithmm-backed AI Caddie hole score picks I’m rolling with. Let’s get into Round 4!

Genesis Scottish Open Round 4 Best Bet
Finishing Position: Tommy Fleetwood to Finish Top 10 (+160)
After watching Fleetwood all day, I was really hoping for him to be in a better position heading into Round 4 on Sunday. He started off five under after his first six holes, which had him sitting one shot behind start-of-day leader Aberg well before he even teed off, but poor putting (he went 2/6 on putts from 2-10 feet) and a rough double bogey on the closing 18th hole derailed a promising round.
As a result, Fleetwood currently sits T11, seven shots behind Aberg at 10 under, a spot that basically renders him unable to win but still in a good spot to pick up some much-needed FedExCup points to solidify himself inside the top 30 players as the playoffs approach.
Despite dealing with poor putting in each of the last two rounds, Fleetwood has been dynamic with his approaches all week. He ranks sixth in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach while hitting over 70% of his fairways, a recipe that is usually going to lead to success with scoring even if the putter isn't cooperating as well.
The Englishman ranks 32nd this season in Final Round Scoring Average at 69.08, so he is used to being able to put up nice scores on Sundays. With him going out on the course an hour before the leaders, can he take advantage of a soft rain-battered course and post a low enough number? I think hecan.
