Welcome to Week 4 of Monday Night Football! This week, the second leg of the MNF doubleheader sees the Seattle Seahawks traveling to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions.

Not much to complain about here! These are two of the NFC's - and maybe the NFL's - best teams.

Both the Seahawks and Lions are positive, with 3-0 and 2-1 records, respectively. The Seahawks, to start, have been great at home and solid in general, using their new offense run by OC Ryan Grubb to really get vertical with the football. The real change, though, may be on defense, where new HC and defensive guru Mike Macdonald has ushered in the post Pete Carroll era with hard-nosed defensive stops and less than 15 points per game allowed.

The Lions have been predictably solid as well to start the season, and despite injuries to some of their offensive stars, have been rolling nicely. We're waiting on QBJared Goff to get rolling, but yet another indoor game could give him a cahnce to get things rolling here.

If you follow along in the Rithmm Discord, you know that I love this play.

The Lions feel tiny bit overrated to me. The offense has been very good, and the defense even better at times, but are things a bit fluky? They weren't able to beat the Buccaneers, who have been very inconsistent, and squeaked out low-scoring victories against the Cardinals (who just got blown out by Washington) and the Rams (who are just decimated).

Meanwhile, Geno Smith looks like the Geno we saw not writing back to teams in 2022, in an offense that emphasizes what he does best in picking his spots. Grubb's new offense has emphasized getting the run going, and Kenneth Walker coming back for the first time in three weeks should help that open up even more this week.
