Contrary to most Thursday night games, this game looks offensively appealing.

The Rams should get Cooper Kupp for the first time in nearly two months, and despite his and Matthew Stafford's names being tossed around in trade talks this week, both should generate plenty of offense versus a Vikings' defense that got beat up by the Lions last week and has been very battered through the air all season.

The Vikings have been reported to be intimately involved in those trade talks with the Rams, so this is intriguing timing for this game. On paper, their matchup against the Rams is very good.

I think both offenses should have a great day here. The Vikings, who blitz heavily, might not be able to rattle Stafford, who is experienced enough to know how to beat the blitz. Especially getting Kupp back, he should be able to overcome most of the pressure that comes his way.

On the Vikings' side of things, this is a matchup that their offensive weapons should enjoy. Provided their stellar pass-blocking OL holds up against a similarly-heavy Rams pressure, QB Sam Darnold should have plenty of time to get the ball to his offensive weapons.
