Both of these teams had radical changes made to their offenses this offseason. The Bears obviously drafted Caleb Williams to be the quarterback of the future for them. Through one week, we've seen flashes but the jury is obviously still out and this is a massive test for him.

On the Texans' side, the big change was trading the Bills for Stefon Diggs to be the completed hydra head to their wide receiver room. Diggs caught two touchdowns in Week 1 and seems locked in as a key piece of the offense.

It's got a 9% ROI on spread games too, however, which should work for this game.

I think there's a chance that this game is an extremely high or low total, which goes into my model choice for this game. Both offenses rely heavily on downfield passing (Miami a tad more), but this is a short week with some bumps and bruises on both sides.

This is a pick I kind of love from the model. People have looked at the Bears all week and said, "There is no way that Chicago can go into Houston and win with the possibility that two of their three wide receivers will miss this game."

While it's true that both WRs Keenan Allen and rookie first rounder Rome Odunze are game time decisions with heel and ankle injuries, with them combining for one practice appearance (Odunze limited on Friday), don't discount this team. If Williams can keep his head on straight and make some of the throw he missed last week, this could be an upset for the Bears.

The Texans have been prone to step in their own way at times from what we saw last season. The Colts were able to cover the spread against them last week and this Bears team has a sneaky underdog mentality to them.
