Collin Morikawa to Birdie or Better Hole 1 (+200)
Targeting Morikawa to start his day off with a birdie at the first hole is a solid play, and with our Rithmm AI Caddie tool giving us a 37% chance that he gets one to go down, I'm jumping on it.
Morikawa has been playing amazing golf lately, and he's off to a hot start through two rounds at the Travelers Championship. He birdied this first hole in Round 2, and it's a nice opening hole that is playing easy so far this week.
Travelers Championship Round 3 Best Bet
Matchup Play: Lucas Glover > Thomas Detry (-110)
Tough look for our first matchup play of the week, as Patrick Cantlay rebounded in Round 2 to score a win over Tony Finau, who shot -3 in the second round but it wasn't enough to surpass Cantlay's five-under score for the day.
Looking at our matchup for Round 3, Glover jumps onto my radar despite coming off two missed cuts at the U.S. Open and the Memorial. Prior to that, he was playing solid golf and I think he can get back t that this weekend.
Glover has played better than Detry this week so far, outplaying him in nearly all categories save for around the green performance. I think we see him get bac to his normal excellence off the tee as well, as his driving accuracy is by far his best trait of his game.
As for Detry, he ranks worse than Glover in Round 3 Scoring Average by nearly a stroke, with an average of 70.9 compared to 70.1.
