Los Angeles Sparks are riding a two-game losing streak. Last time out the Sparks were defeated at home by the Lynx. LA hit 18 of 19 free throws and outrebounded Minnesota but lost the battle on the three-point line three to nine. Leading to the final score of 82-67.

All-Star  Dearica Hamby is leading the Sparks In the following categories:

• Points: 19 per game  
• Rebounds: 10.3 per game
• Steal: 1.4 per game

Hamby was also named to the 3x3 Women’s Olympic roster replacing her injured Spark’s teammate Cameron Brink.  

Wings Preview

Dallas returns to the friendly confines of College Park Center after a brief two-game road trip. In both losses, the Wings surrendered triple digits. The Aces put up 104 and the Mercury 100.

It has been a disappointing year for the five-win Wings. They are currently without the following players:

• Maddy Siegrist: averaging 14.6 points a game
• Satou Sabally: career average of 15.3 points a game

Arike Ogunbowale has been forced to carry the load with the Wings. She is currently averaging career highs in minutes per game (38.4), rebounds (5.2), steals (2.7),  and three-pointers made (3).

The Wings being so centered around one player is a factor in my AI betting prediction.

• Dallas is 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on two days rest
• Dallas is scoring 84.2 points a game L5
• Dallas is allowing 97 points a game L5

Let's look at the board, currently, Dallas is favored by 3.5 points and the total is set at 170.

With these teams being total opposites when it comes to the over, I’m going to stay away from a play on the total.

These two teams are so similar, I believe this line should be Dallas -1.

With the trends and stats, I’m leaning towards Los Angeles Sparks +3.5.
